Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Alte Schule, I found the hotel to offer a satisfactory level of comfort and convenience in a serene setting. The housekeeping was commendable, ensuring a clean and well-maintained room throughout my stay. The heating provided a cozy atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. I appreciated the peaceful terrace, offering a relaxing spot to enjoy the picturesque surroundings. While the absence of on-site dining options may deter some, the complimentary Wi-Fi and free parking were convenient amenities. The hotel's garden area was a pleasant retreat, and the availability of packed lunches for outdoor excursions was a thoughtful touch. As for activities, the children's play area and nearby hiking trails catered to different preferences. For those seeking a tranquil escape at a reasonable cost, Alte Schule strikes a good balance between value and luxury. The absence of certain upscale features like a restaurant may be a trade-off for the peaceful ambiance and affordable rates offered by this quaint hotel.
